The Tampa Riverwalk runs for 2.6 miles from Sparkman Warf to Armature Works, passing the JW Marriot along the way. Following the bank of the Hillsborough River a walk here offers beautiful views, places to eat, drink, enjoy the arts or stop for a rest in Tampa’s parks. The Tampa Riverwalk is also a great place for your morning run.
Ybor City (15 minutes with the TECO Streetcar)

Stroll down 7th Avenue and the surrounding streets and learn about the history of “Cigar City”, founded in the 1880s by Vicente Martinez Ybor. During the day you can visit one of the district’s many restaurants. In the evening the vibe shifts to the bar scene. Seventh Avenue was recognized as one of the "10 Great Streets in America" by the American Planning Association. Start your stroll at the Ybor City Visitors Center & Gift Shop.

Our 1.7 mile Selmon Greenway runs east-west through downtown Tampa - mostly in the shade of the expressway - and connects with the City’s Riverwalk and our own Meridian Avenue Trail. The Greenway is open for anyone who wants to enjoy fresh air, healthy exercise and the amenities of downtown Tampa.

The Meridian Greenway Trail & Dog Run includes designated walk and bike lanes with lush landscaping, seating areas, water features and a bike repair station. A mural voted on by the public is the backdrop to the community dog run located along the Greenway.
