Before You Register
Please review the policies that apply to AIA Florida continuing
education programs. Requirements may vary depending on whether
you are attending a webinar, live seminar, Hot Topics program,
License Renewal program or purchasing an online product.

Written requests for a full webinar refund must be
received by 7 a.m. Eastern on the webinar date.

Groups of five or more qualifying AIA members from
the same firm or organization may qualify for a
group discount on designated programs.

Refunds
Refund Policy for Webinars
Registrants may request a full refund in writing up to
7 a.m. Eastern on the webinar date.
Refund requests received after the webinar date will not
be granted unless there is a documented hardship. Following
individual review, a refund may be granted less a
25% processing fee.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing within
30 days of the webinar date.
Online Products
Refunds for Online Products
Purchasers may request a refund for an online product
up to 30 days after the purchase date.
No refunds will be issued after 30 days or once a
course has been completed.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing.
Verbal or phone requests will not be accepted.
Webinars
Registration Deadlines
Webinar registrations must be received by
5 p.m. Eastern the day before the first day
of the webinar.
Hot Topics & License Renewal Webinars
Group Discounts
5+ AIA Members = 15% Discount
Each webinar attendee must register separately and will receive
a unique webinar link. Individual webinar links may not be
shared with others.
If five or more AIA members from the same firm or organization
register for an eligible webinar, each registered person may
receive a 15% discount on registration fees.
For Fall Hot Topics, qualifying participants must register for
both days. For the License Renewal Webinar,
qualifying participants must register for
all four days.
Group discounts do not apply to nonmember fees or late fees and
may not be used with other discounts. To receive the discount,
contact AIA Florida and register all participants at the same time.
Cancellation Policies
License Renewal Seminars
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing more
than five business days before the course
presentation date to receive a full refund.
Requests after the cutoff will not receive a refund unless
there is a documented hardship. Following individual
review, a refund may be granted less a
$75 cancellation fee.
No refund request, regardless of hardship, will be
considered more than 90 days after the conclusion
of the event.
Hot Topics
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing more
than five days before the course presentation
date to receive a full refund.

Program Participation
Substitutions, Transfers & Cancellations
A registrant may substitute another registrant up to the
beginning of the first morning session.
If the event has a nonmember fee and a nonmember
substitutes for a member, the nonmember will be charged
the applicable nonmember fee.
Verbal or phone cancellation requests will not be
accepted. All requests must be submitted in writing.
No transfer or refund will be granted after the course
presentation date.
Children younger than 16 are not permitted at AIA Florida
continuing education programs.
Special Accommodations
In accordance with ADA requirements, AIA Florida will
try to reasonably accommodate individuals with
disabilities who need special services.
Please inform AIA Florida staff in advance of any
special-needs request.
Speakers & Presentation Materials
Presenters
Speaking Opportunities
Speaking opportunities at live seminars are available
through sponsorship or through selection by AIA Florida
staff and the association's Professional Development
Committee.
Potential speakers may submit content and credentials
to AIA Florida for review and consideration.
Course Materials
Presentation Materials
Presentation materials will be available electronically
in advance of the program. Registrants will receive an
email with a link to access available presentations.
Materials will be sent to the email address used during
registration. Please make sure AIA Florida email is not
being blocked or directed to your junk or spam folder.
Event Participation
Consent to Use Photographs
By attending an AIA Florida event, attendees grant permission
to AIA Florida to use their name, image and/or voice in AIA
Florida electronic, print or multimedia publications, including
internal or external publications, media coverage, online
content and social media.
Attendees agree that they will make no monetary or other claim
against AIA Florida relating to such use of their name, image
and/or voice.
Minors will not be photographed, videoed or recorded, and their
images or voices will not be used by AIA Florida without written
consent from a parent or legal guardian.
AIA Approval & Credit Reporting
All content will be submitted to AIA CES for course approval
under AIA Florida's provider number. AIA Florida is responsible
for registration, attendance tracking and reporting for
continuing education events using an AIA Florida course number.
