Florida’s geography and lengthy coastline create a unique set of circumstances where­Sea­Level­Rise will have a variety of impacts across the state, both along our coasts and tributaries and inland communities. Understanding the impacts of­Sea­Level­Rise across the state will help architects understand how to design safe, resilient buildings that will protect our citizens and infrastructure. Resilient building related to­Sea­Level­Rise will keep our community members safer at home, return to work as quickly as possible and lessen the economic burden on our state.
