Planning Tallahassee’s 100% Clean Energy Future: How it relates to Architecture, Design, and Development.
We are continuing our efforts to reach out to the design and construction at large. The City is working on drafting new requirements regarding clean energy in Tallahassee. At this point, the plan is still in development. Jamie Van Pelt will be introducing the current proposal with the intention of getting our feedback. The City recognizes that the design community will be directly impacted by this resolution and is eager to receive our insights before anything is finalized. This will be another opportunity for the design community to shape our future.
The Tallahassee Clean Energy Information Session will provide an overview of the region's clean energy transition and how it relates to the architecture, design, and development community. The Tallahassee Utilities Clean Energy Plan Manager and members of the consulting team brought on to support the development of the City’s 100% Clean Energy Plan will share progress updates and participate in a discussion with attendees about the opportunities and important considerations associated with this transition.
