This session will present the findings from the International Association of Healthcare Security And Safety (IAHSS) 2020 Security Guidelines.

Description
Learn the latest strategies and guidelines for security concerns related to parking areas, buildings and internal environments, emergency departments, mental health areas, pharmacies, cashiers, infant and pediatric facilities, utilities and infrastructure, bio-chem radiation areas, disposal and storage of chemicals, and security layering and screening active assailant design, and now social distancing.
Objective
Become familiar with the 2020 IAHSS Security Guidelines for Healthcare environments, understand the critical role of the Security Vulnerability Assessment (SVA) and the establishment of security functional design requirements that apply to security and safety concerns, and learn the most current ideas of how healthcare environments are adjusting to the impact of the COVID and Social Distancing, and how it impacts the delivery of goods and services, visitors, and staff access, in a frictionless manner.
