Course #SHT20LG Laminated glass has been used in a variety of architectural applications, ranging from office buildings and schools to institutional and high security buildings.
A variety of interlayers in clear and tinted colors are available, providing post-breakage glass retention, UV filtration, and impact resistance.

Description
This course presents the history and development of laminated glass from its inception as an automotive product to more advanced structural glass applications and how laminate glass can contribute to the health, safety, welfare, happiness of the inhabitants of the building and how it reduces environmental waste.
Objective
Learn about different laminated glass interlayers and their benefits, how laminated glass can contribute to the health and safety of the inhabitants of the buildings. Learn about the building codes relating to laminated glass as well as how it can be recycled to reduce environmental waste.
