Introduction

This course must be completed by June 5, 2021 to qualify for CE Credit.

This course explains how products are water tested in the residential fenestration industry.

Description

This course introduces the different tests that are required to receive either a Florida Product Approval or an NOA, as well as an E-1105 Field Water Test. The course explores the numerous reasons that lead to a “failed” water Test, as well as what “Myths & facts” exist in our industry.

•What damage from water leaks can do to your home
•Valuable Mold information
•Why fenestration products are only “water resistant” and not “water proof”
•Test methods used to look for water infiltration and causes and corrections of failing a water infiltration test
