PHILOSOPHY:
AIA is about leadership. As a long recognized leader of the Institute, AIA Florida is at the top of the list of leading components. Leadership is not about finding followers to execute plans. Rather leadership is about creating more leaders. We as AIA Florida have a rich tradition of many leaders who have gone on to have valuable contributions to the Institute.
As a leader of AIA Florida it is incumbent on us to advocate for the profession as a whole. We are the lead profession in protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public. As such, our leaders must be involved inÂbettering their communities for the quality of life that all expect. As natural born leaders, AIA’s leadership must have an active voice in creating the sense of community across the state. As portals to creating the built environment, we must lead in the creation of the places we live, work and play.
