Join Andersen Windows and Doors for a free informative webinar on the 8th Edition (2023) of the Florida Building Code and the significant changes it brings affecting windows and doors. During this webinar, you will hear about new tornado load design requirements and how these new requirements may make certain buildings more resistant to tornado impacts.

This webinar also will cover changes to:

• The ASCE 7-22 and the impact these changes will have on how buildings are designed to improve their resistance to wind loads.

• Basic wind speed maps and how they will benefit the construction of homes and businesses to resist wind loads.

• Wind-borne debris region that will improve the resiliency of homes and businesses to resist impacts from wind-borne debris in hurricanes.­

Note: This course does not qualify for the advanced Florida Building Code credit.­
