STE[A]M Learning

Architecture in Education

Architecture in Education (AIE) is a STE[A]M-focused, Florida Standards-based educational program of the Florida Foundation for Architecture.

This dynamic curriculum-enrichment program matches professional architects with classroom teachers and strengthens students' understanding of math, social studies, art and other core subjects through real-life, project-based learning.

Through hands-on activities, students discover architecture, design, sustainability, structure, measurement and the ways the built environment influences everyday life.

Bring AIE to your community. The Anstis Fund provides financial assistance to AIA components interested in incorporating Architecture in Education into their local schools.

Student Scholarships

Supporting Future Architects

Crawford Tracey Corporation generously sponsors an annual fundraising effort benefiting the Florida Foundation for Architecture and AIA Florida student scholarship program.

The scholarship program helps support architecture students as they pursue their education and prepare for careers in the profession.

$8,830 raised in 2026 The 2026 raffle and silent auction generated $8,830 in support of architecture scholarships.

People's Choice Award

Celebrating Florida Architecture

The People's Choice Award invites the public to vote for a favorite Florida building and discover the architecture that makes communities throughout the state distinctive.

Each year, the competition reaches audiences well beyond the profession and generates hundreds of thousands of votes from Florida and around the world.
