2011 INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
AIA Miami presents its 18th Annual International Architectural Photography Competition. Finalists will be exhibited during a reception on November 18, 2011 at the MDPL Art Deco Welcome Center as part of Celebrate Architecture & Design 2011. With this call of entries, AIA Miami introduces Art Deco Miami Beach as a special category for this year in honor of the Welcome Center. Those entries will be selected for a special exhibit at the Welcome Center.
Eligibility
The competition is open to the general public (amateur) photographers. Professional photographers are not eligible. Images submitted by ineligible individuals will be disqualified.
Entry Fee:
AIA/Assoc AIA $50 for up to 5 entries
Students $15 for up to 5 entries
Non-members $65 for up to 5 entries
Submissions
The subject matter must have an architectural theme or must contain some element of the built environment. Location of images is unrestricted.
Cash Awards
Best Overall Entry $500
Honorable Mention $250
Best Student Entry $ 50
Submission/Upload Requirements
Images must be JPEGS at 300 dpi no larger than 5 x 7.5".
Entries must have been taken and owned by the entrant.

Permission
Entrants grant permission to AIA Miami to show photographs for exhibitions, publications and promotional purposes. All winning entries will become the property of AIA Miami. Submission of entry implies acceptance of all above conditions.
